Hello, This eStore SW is not yet officially released software by GE and it allowed to be used only on selected GE beta sites computers ! It is recommended to use eStore on WinXP because you don't need to install anything ! If you have WinXP - Go to (Step-3). If you have WinME/Win98/Win2000 - do the following steps: In order to install eStore on WinME/Win98/Win2000 you need: (Step-1) Install DirectX8.1b (DX8.1b) for your version of Windows (WinME/Win98/Win2000). You can get the installation files of DirectX8.1b (DX8.1b) on this CD. (this is an upgrade component by Microsoft that could be downloaded from the following internet link, Microsoft WEB page) Note: For Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, and Windows Me http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=40175 For Windows2000 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=40176 (Step-2) Install WindowsMediaPlayer7.1 (WMP7.1) for WinME/Win98/Win2000. You can get the installation files of WindowsMediaPlayer7.1 (WMP7.1) on this CD. (this is also a component by Microsoft that could be downloaded from the following link) http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/software/playerv7.asp (Step-3) From now and on you are set, - just insert the eStore CD to your laptop and the eStore will be loaded automatically.
